Mr. Francis-Xavier Andoh-Adjei

Francis-Xavier ANDOH-ADJEI, a Ghanaian, holds MPH degree from (KIT) Royal Tropical Institute- Amsterdam; MSc Health Services Planning and Management and B.A (Honours) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST)-Kumasi.

Francis-Xavier is Deputy Director-Planning, M&E and International Relations at the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)-Ghana. He had earlier served in various positions, including Special Assistant to a former Minister of Health, Regulatory Officer-Foods and Drugs Authority, Development Coordinator & Acting Executive Secretary-Wiawso Catholic Diocesan Health Service and Deputy Hospital Administrator-St John of God Hospital-Sefwi-Asafo, Western region.

With fellowship from NUFFIC and support from NHIA, Francis-Xavier is pursuing a PHD programme (Health Systems and Policy) at NICHE. His research is on provider payment reforms in Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
